Euthanasia

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. Choosing in-home euthanasia allows your cat or dog to experience a peaceful passing in the comfort of their familiar surroundings, surrounded by the love of their family.
The fee for in-home pet euthanasia is $350, plus travel and cremation charges (if applicable).

Pet Aquamation Services

We understand that honoring your pet's memory is important. You are welcome to bury your pet (please check local laws) or make your own arrangements for traditional cremation. If you would like us to assist with aftercare, we proudly partner with RBPA to provide aquamation services and can assist with both arrangements and transport.

RBPA offers two options:

 - Group Aquamation: Your pet is respectfully processed alongside other animals. Ashes are not returned to the family with this option, making it a more affordable choice.

 - Individual Aquamation: Your pet is placed in a private chamber and processed individually. Their ashes are returned to you in a complimentary urn.

 - (Optional) Euthabag: For added peace of mind, we can place your pet in a dedicated Euthabag inside the aquamation unit for an additional $50 fee.

Dr. Maxfield is always available to discuss these options with you in more detail to help you choose the best path for your family's needs.
Important Note: Dr. Maxfield is unable to assist with lifting/carrying large pets (over 25 lbs). If you choose to have Dr. Maxfield transport your pet, please ensure your family can carry your dog to her vehicle.
